Mid October I decided to go and visit my friends and family in Budapest since most of my London friends left for NYC. I planned to go for about a week and then I extended it everyday by another day for 3 weeks. Now that I am back in London I looked through my pictures, which bring back the nice memories from my visit.
I ate a lot, made new friends and spent time with family and the people closest to me.
And now the pictures I liked and are suitable for sharing...
In the new friends category:
Dorka. I am so glad I met you, you are so much fun!
In one of the oldest cemeteries of Budapest there are restricted areas because of the falling parts of the buildings. Obviously me and my dad went to inspect the scary rooms. Cemeteries are I think one of the most relaxing places in big cities.
Anna my best friend in Budapest. Everytime I am in Hungary we come back to our childhood fave place: Bisztro on Moszkva ter.
We traveled with my cousin
Marci and his dog Sompo to Matra
, in the north of hungary. We visited a few places where we all used to hang with our families when we were young. We spent summer weekends in our mountain house cooking and walking the around. Each time we were coming back to Budapest we stopped to shop food from the old ladies "street markets". They sit with their tables full, all day chatting and selling jam, wine and fruits & veggies.
Anna and her boyfriend, Andras at Halloween before going out. We had pre drinks at Dorka's place and danced to tracks like: Vengaboys, Blumchen, and other fave tracks from the past.
Second stop of our epic night with Dorka &
Kinga was
Tokio.
Nothing better than this ad. It followed me across the city during the first two weeks of my stay. I just loved it.
Another ad, handmade. 300% Sale! Or so I thought until I zoomed on it now: 300FT/db.
A small part of my grandmother's collection
On of our coffee hangouts with Mom and sometimes Miklos. This was one of the favourite places (except that one occasion when the waitress was a bitch) "
A Table" in Mammut.
Took a long walk one afternoon from Deak ter to Moszkva ter. It proved my
new boots to be super comfy.
My mom's mission is to find a new chandelier. It is difficult.
Saturday routine: the market at Feny utca
Geza & Momo sleeping
Grumi, the best cat ever hanging out in front of our house.
On the way back from Matra
This was a picture I took Just for
Judit, she has a thing for porcelain dogs. I dont judge.
I had some friends Shazam me a
song I liked as my phone was dead. I need to remember somehow.
Documenting outfit ideas. I guess this is how I work.
Drinks with Miklos and Dorka. Friends who drink alike.
From my balcony. I love my view, and miss it like crazy in London
Don't even remember. At telep.
In the cigarette room at Trafiq.
Loving forests just like cemeteries.
Zara bag laying around on the ground.
So much fun and good memories. Thank you everyone! <3 br="">3>
